CCES Celebrates Science Month
Every year, the Caloocan Central Elementary School celebrates Science Month during the month of September. This year, the Science Month was launched with the theme "Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development".
Last September 2, 2019, CCES pupils from every grade level dressed up in their Science-themed costume for the opening parade of the Science Month. Pupils wore improvised costumes made from various recyclable materials such as cardboards, plastic bottles, old newspapers, old CDs, and others. The opening program and parade showed the CCES teachers' and pupils' creativity, ingenuity, and support for scientific advancement that push sustainable development.
Recently, some CCES pupils and teachers participated and won in the District Science Fair 2019 held at GOMBURZA Elementary School last September 20, 2019. The following are winners in their respective categories:

Brigada Eskwela 2019
The Caloocan Central Elementary School opened the Brigada Eskwela week for the incoming school year 2019-2020 last May 20, 2019. The opening parade was led by the school principal Dr. Carmenia C. Abel, together with the Brigada Eskwela school coordinator Mrs. Jeanneth D. Avenido, the CCES teaching force and utility staff, the parents and the pupils. The parade was also joined by Mr. Alistair Salvador, Section Chief of the Records Section, SDO-Caloocan.
The closing program, held on May 25, 2019 at the CCES Covered Court, was attended by a crowd made up of teachers, parents, GPTA officers, pupils, and other stakeholders who contributed during the week-long beautification of the school. Indeed, the Brigada Eskwela in Caloocan Central ES was a success.
